An appraisal was done recently by a GIA and AGS certified gemologist . The large pear cut diamond was cut in ( 1700’s to 1800’s). The four side stones were cut in the late 17^th century. The quality of the diamonds is poor in regard to color and clarity but the age of these stones is priceless.

The diamonds came from a lady who’s father served in the European theatre in world war two, mostly in Germany. He was a fuel truck driver. He returned state side with five diamonds that were in a necklace and later set into this ring. An appraisal was done recently by a GIA and AGS certified gemologist . The large pear cut diamond was cut in ( 1700’s to 1800’s). The four side stones were cut in the late 17^th century. The quality of the diamonds is poor in regard to color and clarity but the age of these stones is priceless.
